Education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge; it is the shaping of character, values, and vision for life. With this belief, the Janet Educational and Social Trust was established in 1984, and Janet Shine’s School of Excellence was born with a humble beginning and a purposeful mission.

From its inception, the school has been guided by a clear objective—to provide quality education that nurtures academic excellence while fostering moral integrity, discipline, and social responsibility. Over the years, it has been a matter of pride to witness the institution grow into a vibrant centre of learning, where young minds are encouraged to think critically, act ethically, and aspire confidently.
